to mark the 30th anniversary of nepros, the flagship tool brand of kyoto tool co., ltd. (ktc), f/p design was given the opportunity to redesign the logo and create a new tagline and the brand guideline.
the new logo inherits the essence of the previous design while refining the elements and removing decorations. this renders the core values pursued by the nepros brand, presenting it as a genuine and forward-driven product brand to the new generations. it also improves compatibility across digital media and enhances legibility.
nepros ID is an IoT-compatible lineup design to meet the needs of tool management in the MRO industry, developed from nepros as the basis. The “ID” is derived from industrial as the field of application for RFID and products. to be in resonance with the strength of nepros, the name and logo were created to be both phonetically and visually memorable, aiming for broader recognition.
