series of brand promotional tools: dental experience center
f/p design contributed to the development of promotional materials for dental plaza tokyo, a total dentistry center by morita corporation, japan’s leading general dental trading company.
plaza = a place where people gather. this concept became our starting point: dental plaza tokyo combines a hands-on experience showroom with research, learning, and training facilities. to convey the new service orientation of providing a multitude of functions for diverse users, we created visual narratives consisting of a movie, webpage, and flyer with depictions of people, furniture, and equipment over the illustration of the floor layout from a bird’s-eye view.
the experience center features distinct thematic areas, each distinguished by its color scheme. the visual narrative easily identifies these areas, while the use of colors on promotional tools further enhances the individual impression of each space.
the facility illustrations depict people in different combinations of head and clothing colors. this shows the capability of the dental experience center to offer a wide range of dental equipment and technology to serve dentists, students, technicians, researchers, and other professionals from diverse fields. this inclusive message is also expressed in the tagline „all are welcome,“ which appears at the end of the video on dental plaza tokyo website.
morita group and f/p have worked closely in numerous design areas beginning with product design for dental equipment and extending to showrooms, product brochures, and corporate branding for 12 years. these series of promotional tools maintain the design dna and assist morita with new challenges going forward.
