when designing the professional ladder range for the japanese company hasegawa, user safety had top priority. added to this was the idea of giving more prominance to the ladder in general, which is assumed to be a low-interest product, while at the same strengthening hasegawa’s brand recognition.
therefore, the design not only paid attention to user safety, material-appropriate production and weight reduction, but also to environmental considerations for the longevity of the product. this is how a valuable product was created that can also compete on the market in terms of price. in order to quickly identify and recognize these positive product characteristics, a new, concise design DNA has been developed for the company’s entire assortment of ladders and the respective product lines, communicating the company’s new standards of quality, safety and sustainability.
